The castle and the facilities of the castle are beautiful and large. We had a wedding here and the facilities added to the atmosphere beautifully, not even too much decoration was needed. Both of the caretakers were wonderful, helpful with everything! We could do everything our own way, no one pushed anything on us, rather they helped and recommended. Every now and then everything is improved, so when we went in September, the following June a lot of improvements and extensions were added. The price/performance ratio is unbeatable! We couldn’t have found a better place for our wedding.

We had an APALUCHA (dads with kids numbering 40+) here in July 2023. The castle has awesome facilities, a beautiful large landscaped park and garden with a fire pit, playground and climbing frame. All rooms clean, kitchen fully equipped for this number of participants including dishwasher and pizza oven ;-). The property has a huge dining room, so you really feel like in a castle :-). There is a skatepark with refreshments and another playground for kids and football in the neighbourhood of the castle, and a few minutes away is also a nice swimming pool Dachova. Beautiful location and space – and an even better garden – for rent at an affordable price. Lots of work to be done on the castle, but it already has a great atmosphere and we had no trouble packing in 30+ people for a work weekend. The caretaker, Mr. Zikmund, was very helpful and kind.

Liked – The castle may be pre-renovation, but the location is absolutely stunning for someone looking for something interesting, unusual, and value for money. A very interesting place for photographers who want to take interesting photos from, for example, a park or part of a historic building. The castle garden is breathtaking ….. Ideal place for weddings, fairs, exhibitions…. The place will not be suitable for guests who are looking for luxury, maximum comfort and amenities of a 4-star hotel ….

Liked – The apartment has all the facilities including its own large bathroom and kitchen where you can find everything for cooking. Arrangements can be made with the manager to expand to add another room where children can sleep separately. The view was literally palatial, the pond and park adds to the atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay, our daughter did not want to leave the adjacent park. We found beautiful places for nature walks in the area. The staff was very helpful.

A weekend at the castle, what more could you ask for? We had the area to ourselves (larger group) and we really enjoyed it. The possibility of renting 4wheelers was a pleasure, the guys from the catering cooked us lunch and we had a great time. I recommend it!

The rooms are just right, there was plenty of space.

We had the honor of having our first ever wedding here under the ownership of the current owners. 🙂 The castle grounds themselves are in a beautiful location, with a large castle garden and spectacular spaces that ooze history. We didn’t hesitate a minute with our choice. We made use of the two large historic halls, with a banquet in one and entertainment in the other. The chateau offers 38 beds to comfortably accommodate your guests. What is definitely worth mentioning is the actions of Mr. Bartos, the manager, and the managers of the castle, who were great to deal with and go out of their way to do their best to ensure the satisfaction of the guests. It is really clear that the owner is trying to improve the castle day by day and invest considerable money in it, so you still need to be lenient in some things. We enjoyed the wedding and have beautiful photos and memories from here. Thank you for your attitude and we wish in the future that you will manage to fully renovate the castle, although it will be a lot of work. 🙂

Romantic accommodation in an otherwise inaccessible to the public castle with a beautiful garden. Staff friendly. Bathroom and kitchen shared, which is probably the biggest minus. However, the accommodation is still being improved. Easy parking and beautiful location.
